where did you guys get your LS6 intake's?

search the classifieds to buy used. They are over $500 new, which almost isnt worth it.

well i found a used one on ebay for like 200... but i didnt know if that was a good deal or not

you better make sure it is a ls6 intake and not a ls1, if it is ls6 for $200 I bet it is already gone

the CHEAPEST a used one with no damage goes for is ~300, they usually go for around 325-340

Depends on other mods you have but rough estimate ~15hp

on a bolt on car a LS6 intake is probably worth 10-15 hp. As soon as you start adding things like bigger cam, heads, the gain increases.

If you can get a LS6 intake for $200 in good shape, I'd jump on that.

Not true. That's what they go for on HERE, but they're cheaper elsewhere. I got an LS6 intake (yes, I checked the part # and it is an LS6) on Craigslist for $200 with a ported throttle body included. They're out there, if you're willing to wait and look. Just look up the part numbers and make sure you know what you're getting.

where do you look up part #'s to know if they are a true ls6? like if i have the number for one, what do i do?

i saw the one you're talkin about on ebay....its got well over 5 days left. i watched intakes on ebay for a couple months and i guarantee this one will go over $350.

maybe message the guy and see if you can work out a "buy it now" deal

just get a 01-02 car they com factory on them lol jk they are a very good upgrade usually they go for around 300

Honestly from what I've seen on here the majority of them go for 300 shipped or plus shipping, I would never pay a dime more then that. Although I have seen some go for a little more but thats b/c its either had a TB with it or some kind of paint.
