Default Budget LS6 Build, Input Needed

I have a low mile LS6 longblock that came out of an '04 Z06 that I will eventually be dropping into my Lexus IS300. I want to try and get as close to 450 rwhp out of this motor for as cheap as possible since I will already be spending plenty on all the swap stuff. I'm not doing to build a quarter mile monster here, just a reliable, tame street sleeper. I still have my full NX dry kit and 42 lb. injectors I'm gonna put on there as well and spray it with the occasional 150 shot. Like I said before though, I'm looking to get around 450 rwhp on motor alone to start with.

The Z06 heads are already pretty good from the factory so is it possible for me to make that kind of power with those heads (unported)?

Here is the budget setup I was thinking made from parts I have left over from past setups and a few necessarry things added:
-LS6 intake w/ported TB
-Dual springs
-Comp R lifters
-Custom cam
-A little mill work on the heads
-Long tube headers
-4" merge collector with cutout

If I invest in anything major other than listed above, it will either be on ported heads OR a FAST 90/90 (not both). Can I reach my goal with this setup or will I have to add ported heads or a FAST to the mix to make it happen?

Also, I'm thinking of getting an MN12 T56 out of a GTO because they are stronger and smoother than a build f-body M6 and I'm hoping they can hold this power level, around 600 rwhp on spray (not spraying in 1st) for a lot cheaper than a built T56. A Spec 3+ or Textralia Exoskel clutch should work fine I'm thinking too.

I'm having to add the work BUDGET to my vocabulary for this build and it is something that I haven't stuck to as much on past builds and has gotten me in over my head a time or too, lol. Thanks in advance for any helpful input on this.

I feel you will need a little head work (TEA st 1 )with a EPS cam.also get bigger injectors and fuel pump.

I used 42 lb. injectors on my last 600 rwhp sprayed 347 with no problems at all. That motor was only 9.2:1 compression for boost though, but I think it's the power level in this case that really matters, right?

I would talk to Geoff@EPS about having you a custom cam made. He did a cam for a guy with a pretty much stock LS6 which put down around 420-430.

I would also talk to Damian, he's really sharp too.

IMO you could ditch the comp R lifters, mill the heads for some added compression or run a .040 gasket. Sounds like you have the exhaust sorted out. People seem to make really good power with the 243 heads. 28.8lb injectors will be enough for your power level.

I only mentioned the lifters because I already have a set that hasn't sold yet from my old build.

As for the injectors, remember that I will be running a DRY SHOT so I will need those bigger one's with the TR6 plugs.

450 is ambitious, it can be done but you need all the bolt ons

Crap, sorry I read over the dry shot part. There are better plug options now that the TR6's. Look into the BRFE7's from NGK.

Geez, how cold a plug do I need for a 150 shot? I figured the 6's were perfect, but if those 7 series are better, I will get them cause NGK's are all pretty cheap anyway.
