Default Kooks LTs header gaskets?

I have 1 7/8 kooks LTs off of 225 trick flow heads. Ive heard that the kooks gaskets aren't the best and leak a lot.... i am going through this now, when i go to replace them should i use or can i use a diff gasket the will hold up? thanks

When I got my kooks headers the gasket was a thin metal gasket with some felt looking stuff around it.

But after some research I found that the best gasket is the gm mls gasket, if your car does have many miles id try and reuse them. I bought new ones cuz I just wanted the insurance of having a new gasket on there.

when i got my kooks 1 7/8 headers a month or so ago they came with the multi-layered aluminum ones. they seem to be working fgreat still after 1000 miles. thought about using the stock ones but theyre way smaller.
