Default General Engine question

Well for starters I have an 02 Z28 47k on it now, Ive knoticed a few things that seemed out of the ordinary and I need to make sure of a few things.

1. It has perimeter bolt heads, late model LS1's as far as I know are center bolt.

2. is there any way while in the car that I can tell what kind of block it may be, 5.3 5.7 6.0? I really would like some help Identifying my motor Where is any identification that can be easily read Thanks in Advance!!

Check the front of the engine just above the alt bracket. It will either say 4.8/5.3, 5.7, or 6.0

The perimeter heads are not correct. Hopefully the PO just demodded heads to whatever was laying around which ended up being the 98 heads. Worst case, he blew the engine and put whatever junker was laying around which happened to be a 98

what number is on the top corner of the passanger side head? if its an 02 it should be 241 if it's in the 800's it's probably a motor out of a 98,99,2000
