I think those have to be the two best brands for F-Body LT's. I have heard the ARH Y-Pipe tucks better under the car though with better clearance. They are both great, and honestly whichever one currently has the better price I would go with. Although I have heard that ARH has outstanding customer service as well.

Recently intstalled kooks 1 7/8 with nonproblems. Factory motor mounts were junk. After prothane install everything was good. Kooks even customized my y pipe to 3 1/2 inch outlet to fit my Mufflex system at no extra charge.

What headers do you have now? Are you looking to go with 1 7/8ths? My fit and finish on my Hooker 1 7/8ths LTs is second to none. I was very impressed with how well they fit.

I would look at Byunspeed for either ARH or Kooks headers, they will price match and have free shipping on orders over $99.00. Young is a great deal with as well.

The fit and finish is good but the collectors suck!! I just took a set of 1"3/4 off of my Camaro. I went with the ARH 1"7/8 headers for my new motor and love them. I have the Hooker jet hot coated headers 1"3/4 I need to get rid of anyone interested? I can sell the headers for $50.00 plus shipping..

Both are good headers. We are a Kooks header dealer, and run them on all of our cars. The new 4th gen headers come with an extra O2 bung welded in for wideband, which is really nice IMO. Kooks does have a minimum advertised price policy however..so what you see on the website is the lowest we can put in "writing". If you call us however, we can offer pricing I am confident is the best out there along with free shipping! Our number is 443-730.9428!

ws6store.com has the lowest prices on both headers. they also have free shipping with the headers. if you get ARH with their ORY pipe it comes out to like $20 more then the kooks headers with their ORY pipe. ARH has a better ORY pipe tho, defiantly worth the extra 20 if your already spending the money for them.
