summit universal x-pipe

anyone here have any experience running summit racings universal x-pipe, just wondering the goods and bads about it

I used it on a setup I had. Only thing I used was the x itself, nothing else worked. It worked fine, sounded great w headers and magna flow 4x9s.

Their kit is a good starting point but not really designed for our cars. The bends have to be adjusted to the way our cars work. Other then that there is nothing wrong with it. I have fabbed up several systems using it.

I've used 2 of the 3" Kits.. one on my 1998 Camaro, I used some other bends with it and got it to work.

It's a little more straight forward on the MCSS..

Much smoother tone and mid-range, top end power is added. Excellent mod for an NA and Procharger car.

I used the 2.5 kit for my true duals. I have the bbk headers and o/r y. I cut the ball flanges off the y pipe and clamped to my xpipe. I will say clearance is bad with the cased mufflers.
