I know it's going to be loud. The car isn't daily driven so I want something on the crazy side. I'll put a video clip up once I have it installed. Exhausts are like *** holes everyone has one and they all likes the sound theirs makes!

If the sound is too much I'll probably buy the lm2 muffler. I have the modular lm system and I can change the resonator.

yea... it's one thing to be "loud", quite another to be "loud" and sound "good" at the same time... the quality of the LM sound with a stock motor sounds great, but when you start modding and with LT's and an ORY the quality of the LM sound goes to complete crap. What I'm getting at is it doesn't even sound good anymore... just loud and sickly... not in a good way

I really want to know what this sounds like on my flowmaster....The flowmaster has so much muscle behind the sound it's ridiculously good on stock manifolds...I could care less about how they say flowmaster doesn't flow as good as the rest, but I think it's by far one of the best sounding for ls1s...pure muscle with a touch of race car....

Just paranoid if the lts and ory will ruin the sound quality...I want it to sound as it does now, just a tad louder with the same tone...and a few more hp is good.. but if a few more hp comes with a price tag of ******* up my exhaust note right now I'll be pissed..ya know.. This is what I need to understand...does or would your exhaust sound the same just "louder" with lts/ory?

Everyone has the bbk coated headers and y pipe for $499 free shipping so the deal you got is about normal, seem like they were $379 last year?

The BBK ORY-pipe has a good merger on it so it shouldn't add any rasp, but regardless the sound will change some.
BTW, I got my Ceramic coated BBK LT's for about $430 a few months ago.

Mine are on the way right now. Hoping to have them tomorrow. Putting in some solid motor mounts while I am at it.

I will be pairing my headers with an SLP 2OTL. Hope it sounds decent.

I wouldn't think that something like that would rust through quickly but with all the hooplah over coatings and whatnot I can't help but wonder if it matters that much beyond appearance.
The ceramic coating will help keep the heat in the headers and out of the engine compartment.

Thats true. My LM1 is only alittle louder than my Flowmaster was. Its perfect to me. Its got a nice tame idle and is pretty mellow just driving around, but it still has that nascar sound at wot even with the catted y pipe.

On another note it would probably be much louder with an ms3 in there

The system is installed! The install was pretty straight forward. The pass header went in from under the vehicle and the driver side header actually went in from the top with no issues. The fitment is quality. I had a little issue with the fitment between my SLP LM1 catback and the y-pipe but that is expected when using different a/m parts and vendors. I will post a pic of the pass side installed. I also posted a video of the stock manifolds with a SLP LM1 and the longtubes with the LM1.
