A few ? about pcv system, ls6 valley, & catch can

A few ? about pcv system, ls6 valley, & catch can Ok i was gave a ls6 valley cover and im wondering if it is worth doing a catch can as of now i have no pcv system on my car at all. I have heard mixed reviews. Does it hurt anything leaving ur valve covers open and letting it vent that way I have breathers on the nipples. Now since i have the ls6 valley i wanna take advantage of it but i just got done taking my FAST apart and cleaning it as it was full of oil this is why i dont wanna run nothing through my intake again. I know that just a pcv valve will not do even on a ls6 valley cover. If anything i would like to just run a can I do imagine it is good to pull some vaccum on the crank from the ls6 cover. I want advice from people who know and have did either way leaving it off or using a can not well i heard this or my friend this....
