Question What`s the blue electrical connector for?

After putting the intake back on I noticed a blue electrical connector at the rear of the drivers side head. What`s that for? I don`t remember unpluging anything! Off course, I started this H/C project back in July off last year so I probably just forgot something!

Could it be the oil pressure sensor? And the big question is, can I get it plugged back in with the intake on!?

I think I know what you're talking about.Yeah you can plug it back in with the intake on. I remember a bracket back there with a plug on it that was just held on by a clip. It's a small round plug(don't remember if it was blue),right? I just took a look at my car but couldn't see back there because of the egr tube but I think thats what your looking for. I'd pull the coil packs, bracket, and egr tube to get a clear shot but I know it's back there. Maybe you can just pull the egr and feel around back there. Hope this helps.

I believe that connector hooks in around that round black valve thing that's hooked into the rubber AIR tubes at the rear of the drivers side head...somewhere. I know it's in that area somewhere I can't remember exactly where...my car doesn't have that plug(98 model)...I remember it from a recent cylinder head R&R I just did on an 02 model.

Oops! Did I say egr? I meant air tube. I'm going to agree with "Dustin Butts" on the location.

also..feel around behind the intake for a connector that might be hanging down by it's wires. I'm sorry I can't remember the exact location. I just remember a blue connector that took me a minute to find where it went.

Well...I am an ***. I found it. It was the connector for the oil pressure sensor. The pig tail for it fell behind the block when I was putting the intake on. I felt around until I found it and plugged it in. The sad thing is, I eat, sleep and breathe this stuff and it never struck a cord `till I found the pig tail. Thanks to all for the help. This site rulz!!!
