So about a week ago i got my car back from VA speed and was going to get it tuned, but they didnt tune it because i apparently have a rod knock....but i dont. when i got my car back i noticed they installed one block off plate but didnt install another and left the air pump installed...would that cause any knocking or ticking?

If the manifolds for the smog/air pump isnt blocked off it could give off a sound as if it was knocking but i dont see how a shop that familiar with cars wouldnt catch that? It would actually be a good size exhaust leak.
