Spiral Flow in place of intermediate pipe

Spiral Flow in place of intermediate pipe I am going to replace the intermediate pipe in my exhaust set up with a spiral flow muffler or something similar (Pacesetter loong tubes, ORY, Borla cat back).
My question is should I go with a 3 inch welded in or a 3.5 inch clamped in? I could definitely see a leaking issue with the clamped 3.5 route but was wondering if I went with the welded 3 inch if it would be an issue to drop the exhaust if I ever needed to.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I didn't think it would slip over since the whole system is 3" from the collectors back.
If that would work then I would definitely get the 3" and just clamp it.

I would weld it. Less chance of leaks and there are plenty of catbacks out there with a similar muffler in the I-pipe that don't have problems getting them in and out of the car.
