I just got my catback on, fits pretty good, needs a little adjustment. The single outlet is quite long so I may cut it off some.

Sound: 1000 times better than the flowmaster. The flowmaster didnt have really any definite sound, just a wooshin noise.

Fitment: Fits great, just needs a little adjustment.

I will get pics and videos soon.

I came across that one. The whole"J-pipe" back to the other side though that I would need for CME has me questioning flow. What sucks in general would be the crossflow design to begin with.

I'm leaning more and more to the side of trying the mufflex 4" I and then right where it comes over the axle (after axle) trying a 4" to dual 3" flowmaster merge (going back to my reversed flowmaster merge theory) and being stuck with a can muffler of some sort either before the CME outlets or perhaps in the I pipe itself.

Glad to see you like the sound! The tip is little too long that's why I had them tuck and dump mine. Some cutting and adjusting should fix it up though. Post some pictures ASAP!

I'd try to run a bullet style muffler(check out Magnaflow's Race Series, they have an oval body one, it looks pretty small) that might fit in the I-Pipe, then have some tubing bent up to fit the CME. That would be awesome. I have always read that Spintech's don't flow too well, which wouldn't surprise me by looking at the muffler design, but damn they sound good.

I don't see why something like this wouldn't work.

Grifter, that muffler is really to large a diameter to install in the I-pipe with out clearance issues unless the trans/driveshaft tunnel is clearanced quite a bit on the passenger side, and after the over-axle pipe a oval muffler would fit better (factory muffler location), and further down the line smaller diameter bullet mufflers(4" or 5" dia.) would also fit better on the left and right side (factory exhaust exit locations).

Default Got it installed

I got it installed and it needed tweaking, lets just say the hangers mufflex provided sucked. They either didnt line up or really didnt do anything. After the muffler shop fixed it up, it fits pretty good now.

The tip is adjusted more and you cannot see it from the side, looks great. Needs some more black paint after scuffing it off from adjusting.

Oh yeah, I was thinking about putting my E cutout back in, not sure if I am going to do it anymore, its such a simple system now, no tips, no cutout scraping, pretty sweet. It sounds awesome too..

No vids yet, i will try to get some up soon. I see what people mean about magnaflow, quite until you get on it. It has a great tone to it.

Yeah, I think you're right. There probably isn't much room especially with 4" piping.

Looks great! That's what I like about Magnaflow; it's pretty docile at idle/cruise but really comes alive on the throttle.

Well, got my first compliment already on the exhaust. I dont even think I got one before with the cutout open or going thru the flowmaster exhaust, sounds much better.

Yeah, its really deep, gets pretty loud when you get on it. Its actually the 3.5" piping. If ya know anyone looking for a E cutout, mine will be forsale soon.

Wow, I thought it would be quieter with cats, kind sounds like mine without cats.

What does everyone else think of the sound? I was hoping for it to be quieter.

The system has a great tone to it, but with your cam and all, it's bound to be pretty loud, but it's not AS loud as one might expect.

I checked on Mufflex site and they only offer the 3.5" with Spintech or Flowmaster. Yours is 3.5" with Magnaflow, right? I have a 3/3.5" FM merge in my Y that's stepped down to 3" and I'm thinking of going 3.5" all the way back.

Yep, its 3.5 with the magnaflow, they are in the process of adding it to there site. I have some agressive vids, but they didn't come out that good.

Im thinking it needs to be quieter, seems pretty loud and untuned, not quite sure if I like the sound or not. What would be quiter than a magnaflow muffler?
