Default Ngk tr55

I just installed the ngk TR55 copper plug and was wondering how many miles should I expect to get out of them before I change them.

It really depends. I assume no spray since you are running TR55s?

For coppers I would do every 20,000 miles or once a year.

Dude, I put a fresh set of TR55's in when we installed LT's a few years ago at about 65k. The car just turned over 100k and I thought, "Well, even though it's running perfectly, maybe I should change them." I pulled them out, and one by one, they all looked immaculate. Gap had widened a bit and that was all.

If I get motivated enough I'll take some pics and post 'em. I'm going to leave this set in for 50k as long as the car runs strong.

I would say for a DD non race car 50k would be fine... Factorys are rated for 100k

They come gapped from the factory at .55 -.58 I just leave them at that, but I check 'em to see if they're all the same. In this particular batch, there was one that was off.
