I dont get why everyone runs the loudmouth and long tubes with the off road pipes then complains that its too loud. What were they expecting? I have it with cats and I dont think its that loud at all.

You dont hear the exhaust from the same perspective as people outside the car. From inside the car I don't think my exhaust is loud, but a friend was driving behind me at WOT and he said it's loud as ****. That's with even more muffler than the LM system.

There was a guy that had a procharged SS with LT's, ORY, and LM1. The exhaust would pretty much make you deaf if you were behind the car or beside it at WOT.

After 6 years I'm getting the imfamous Hooker muffler rattle. No rust. I do like it because it's quiet. Great with an e-cutout.

This. The Hooker sounds pretty good, but personally I'd never put a non-stainless exhaust on my car.

Considering the MF is only about 50 or 60 bucks more than the Hooker, it's kind of a no brainer IMO.

I spent tons of money trying to find what I liked,,,LMII, twister pro flow (which does sound pretty good) but the hooker is tame unless you get on it,, has a nice deep tone,, I love it. Have had mine for about 4 yrs, no rust, or rattle,, just depends where you live and conditions its in day after day. It used to be the cheapest, but popularity went up-and so did the price....

I've heard all of the catbacks, and they all have their pro's and con's. I would and will always run Hi-Flo cats just for sound, it cuts out all the rasp, gives a deeper tone and doesnt lose as much power as what most think, just sounds awesome with them! I ran them on my LS1/IROC, heads/cam/nitrous with a borla catback, sounded amazing with the cutout open, deep and noticable but not obnoxious and super quiet with it closed. My buddy runs the same cats that i ran on his 03 cobra and dyno's 750rwhp. In contrast some people would rather not run cats, they prefer it louder.

Hooker sounds awesome but if i bought it i'd clean it real good and paint it with some high temp paint, put on 3-5 coats, this will prevent it from rusting out. Anytime you use aluminumized steel you need to paint it. OR buy stainless magnaflow/slp. good luck!

I love how my Hooker Catback sounds. I bought the car with it already on there. It does show some signs of rust though.

No rasp with my loudmouth 1. I think when my cats go I am going to take them off and see how long before it starts to annoy me

I would opt for the hooker catback. Its a good sounding catback. the SLP loudmouth will be pretty loud, and raspy. Not really a clean, muscle sounding car. The hooker has a deep, rumble and more muscle sound to it.
