Found a extra stock MAF center without the ends on it I had stashed back from a long time ago. Almost forgot about it actually. Dug it out everything looks fine with it except it was filthy. So I took my time & slowly cleaned it with Alcohol instead of the MAF cleaner I used on my stock piece that now wont allow the car to run properly. I'm gonna swap the ends over & test it out today. We shall see....

Well after I got off work I swapped in the other stock MAF I found & cleaned up, same result. So it seems any time a MAF is plugged in the car idles & runs like ***. Unplug it & its alot better. Still has some soggy spots & I"m driving it like grandma until I can get it on the dyno Friday. But it my daily driver so I have to drive it.
In all my years wrenching this is the weirdest series of events to happen to me with a car.

Well, tossed in a new Racetronix pump, made sure it worked. Unhooked the battery & let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then did the PCM reset all back to back before ever starting the car. And it worked, no SES light anymore, no codes, 62psi at idle & the car has ***** again. Drives perfect.
I still need to throw my catch can on this weekend & I'm done for a while. Getting this straight has worn me out on wrenchin for a few days at least, LOL.
