LS6 and Emmission questions

I will be buying an ls6 from my buddy soon. My question is will I get by the ODB2 plug in test???

Not sure if a engine light will come on since there is no egr stuff on the ls6. Do I either have to buy the slp ls6, get the code tuned out, or will it be ok to pass emmissions? thx

If your computer is a 98 it will throw a code for no EGR, unless you used your 98 manifolds and EGR setup and the old intake.

Okay. So maybe I would be best off just buying a new BBK intake or a new SLP LS6 right?

I am not sure about getting a fast, unless I can find one for around $450.

If it's just the plug-in test then get the codes(egr, and air pump) tuned out.

What would you guys do?

Do the fast intakes 90/90s come with the egr stuff or am I pretty much stuck with having to buy a new intake?

Yea I know. I bought SLP LS6 on Ebay and it was delivered with a hole in it. So I started to look around and called all these places. I even called SLP. I was told they stopped selling them because there wasn't enough interest in them
