Default Mac Midlength of Pacesetters, help me decide

After my new tires go on, I will be doing my exhaust setup within the next month. The plan is to install the headers/ORY/Cut-out and catback all at once as to save money/install time.

I really can't decide which way to go. I see Macs for sale on the site all the time with ORY's for the same price I could get the Pacesetters for. I am NOT planning on upgrading my heads or cam, ever. I already have a lid, and plan on doing full exhaust then a 125 dry shot of nitrous, then maybe some more bolt ons (FTRA, pulleys, roller rockers, etc.). The car will be lowered on 18" Z06's so clearance will be an issue. I am looking for the best gains with clearance and a good fit/easy install. From what searching I have done, it seems like without heads/cam upgrade, the mids will make as much power as the LT's.

Give me your input, what would you do in my shoes.

Go with pacesetters. I love mine and they were really easy to install.

If I remove my EGR during the header install and do not get a tune, how bad will my car run? I probably won't get a tune for atleast 6 months. Also, how hard is EGR removal?

The car will run just as good with the egr off as it would with it on. The egr is pretty easy to remove. The only hard part was disconnecting it from the passenger side header. It took a really long extention.

Go with the pacesetters, a lot of people have gone from macs to LT's, dont recall seeing anyone that went from Lt's to macs.

I went from MACs to Pacesetters, but that is only because I plan to do more stuff to the car in the future, if i stayed SI I probably would have just stayed with the MACs, but i do love the sound better with the Pacesetters. It will all come down to money.

Definetly go with the Pacesetters. Havent had a problem with mine and they fit perfectly. Wouldn't recommend the Pacesetter Y though. Or at least get a LT. Maybe try the new Hedmans?
