This question I have kinda goes along with this thread so ill ask. My car is a 98 with full bolt ons. My question is I'm going to be installing a circle d 4000 stall and my trans is stock. Will it hold up or should I buy a rebuild kit, what do most people do with a stall

Mine is only about 3200 on stock trans. So far so good. I do have a trans cooler tho. My buddy has a 4000 and hes gone through a few trannys. This could all be luck, or a lack thereof. Id say get a trans cooler for sure.

It was the stock 2000 intake (not ls6). Id recommend skipping the rebuid and just buying a built tranny if you have problems. Probably be a lot more bang for your buck.
