The FM 44 is a good flowing/sounding muffler, the center in/out model flows the best. The FM 80 that is used on the Cat-back flows better than stock, but not compared to a lot of other performance mufflers.

dannyo210, do you any sound clips with your current setup?

My $.02....

I was in the same position as you and opted for the cutout. I leave the cutout partially open to allow for a good portion of the air to escape and to pump up the volume. The rest of the exhaust passes through the Flowmaster catback -- this shouldn't be a restriction because there isn't much that has to pass through (hence it isn't a "bottle neck") and you get the benefit of a nice clean tone.

All of our tastes are unique when it comes to the sound of an exhaust.....that being said, my preference is for a louder exhaust however I can't stand rasp. The raspy options out there just seem to offer, loud, loud and loud -- doesn't seem to be much tone variation at all.

Just made a cold start idle video for you. Going to get a final street/dyno tune this week. Didn't even think to rev it, the camera mic would have probably peaked out lol.. Sorry the quality isn't any better.

Sounds good once the idle starts to drop, bet it sound really sweet when the engine's up to temperature.

IMO, rev sound clips are overated, idle and drive by clips are the best.

Thanks!
