Stainless steel headers vs. coated headers
Stainless steel headers vs. coated headers With all of the hype about the new stainless steel headers now available, I have a question about heat retention.
Has anyone ever gotten a chance to compare underhood temperatures between stainless headers and coated headers? Are the benefits of stainless steel negated by too much underhood heat dispersion compared to coated headers?
I have read alot of different opinions on the underhood heat issue and was just wondering if any of you have actually compared stainless vs. coated.
Is the difference negligible or do the coated headers actually keep things much cooler, enough to make a difference?

I got a set of kooks stainless and then sent them out to jet hot but did not get them back yet why not get the best of both worlds. Get a quote from jet hot and they send you a movie and all sorts of literature for free, they make it real convincing.O ya mention your a member of this board and they give you 10 or 20 percent off
