FLP headers w/ sub-frames - compatable?

FLP headers w/ sub-frames - compatable? I have installed a set of FLP long-tube headers and I'm now considering the purchase of sub-frame connectors.
Has anyone with FLPs experienced clearence problems with any particular brand of sub-frame connectors....?
I'm leaning toward the SLP sub frames since they are bolt-ons; these have side bars that connect to the transmission mount and I am wondering whether the bars will hit the headers or Y-pipes....
The headers have been a constant source of issues for me since I bought them. They fit poorly and they bang like hell....I'm hoping the subframes and the installation of a poly transmission mount will cure the FLP banging header Y-pipe syndrome...
The manufacturor says it is normal for them to bang on the floor boards and it is also normal to use a crow bar to pry the headers away from the oil drain plug when chaning engine oil (...and during all this time I thought they had a design or manufacturing defect????).
