I don’t know how much the gaskets are but I figure I won’t have more than 230 total in the header project. Since I am also doing motor/tranny mounts I will end up right around 300. Not bad considering the power I "hopefully" will pick up!

The other post asking what we are squashing here is the fact that almost every post I can find about these headers is nothing but people, who don’t own them, that say they are crap and every now and then someone will chime in and say they are great.. No one has documented from what I can tell how they fit and taken detailed pics of them, so, I am.. I never thought to weigh them until I was asked to so that’s coming soon..

If anyone has any other requests at all please let me know.. I am just trying to help other people that don’t have 700 bucks to spend on headers decide if these are worth it or not to them..

Have you had any problems with the headers heating up? I started my car for all of 45 seconds and the ebay headers were hot enough to burn my fingers.

Also, i'm just running an open ORY right now, but it sounds like total garbage. Especially when the rev comes down. What kind of exhaust do you have behind the headers?

Nope had them on for two years almost and no burned wires. Ran them 6 months untuned then got them tuned and it made a big difference in milage.

Good. there is 1 wire boot just barely touching my headers on each side. I hope i don't have any problems......i really don't see a way to tie the wire back or anything with them being so short.

They used to, I got a set back in '07.

They were eBay headers, 321 Stainless, 1 3/4" primaries, 3" collectors, no EGR/AIR. They were made by SS Autochrome. Since then though that company was banned from eBay (using brand names in their listings to compare products) so you probably won't see them anymore.

Mine fit perfectly as well, no need to cut or modify anything. Just slid them in and bolted them up. The only issue was with the driver's side ehader being angled too far towards the floor, which I corrected by installing an aftermarket exhaust.

The welds look pretty good, couple areas where they look cold lapped, at least they brushed the welds, or they send the headers out to be ep'd before they sell'em, they appear to be 18 ga. from the pics, they should last awhile, not bad for what I'm thinking you paid I've seen those on ebay as well. If they fit you will have some nice headers there. Good luck on your install!

If you know someone who knows how to tig weld, you might want to seal weld the primary tubes on the inside to the flange.

That's a pretty good idea, actually. I don't even think Hooker does that anymore.

Sorry everything is taking so long guys.. My friend who is supposed to be helping with the install has alot going on and we keep putting it off but the weights are in. The scale used is at my work for shipping packages so it is EXTREMELY accurate...
Passanger side header was 10.21
Drivers side header was 10.26
