Default intakes and throttle bodies

a friend has just offered to sell me his fast 78 intake and his 80mm bbk tb for $375(or $300 for just the intake). i currently have the ls6 intake and a stock tb that has been ported and polished. so should i leave the stock p&p tb on the fast 78 or throw on the 80mm bbk? and can you p&p the bbk tb?

That is a good price for the FAST intake. The BBK will probably do just as well as the P&P Stock 78 if it was done properly.

Killer deal if it's all in great shape.
IMO, I'd get the BBK 80 TB to, and if you don't like it for some reason you could easily sell it and get your $75 back.
If you want to P&P the BBK, it can really benefit from smoothing the the inlet before the TB blade.

Buy up the intake. That's a great deal. If the stock TB was done right, there's next to nothing to gain going from your stock p&p TB to the BBK 80mm. I'd pass up the BBK.
