Default Opinions on exhaust

ok guys, i am about to get some pacesetter LTs but am not sure what set up i want to run after the headers i definately want to have it dumped the only set up i see is TSP X PIPE with mufflers dumped at the axle who wants to cough up $450 for the TSP RUMBLER X though?? are there any other good options? does anyone just dump it after the headers with some purple hornies or something??

Is sound a factor for you? If not, you can dump them out. Best bet is to get a muffler shop to put on a custom X-pipe and the mufflers of your choice. The TSP true duals are loud, really loud. So loud, a cop will hear you 10 minutes before he pulls you over. TSP's set-up is true bolt-on, so just open UPS box, install, and drive. If you get a custom shop to do something for you, then you need your car, with headers installed, at their place for maybe a day or longer. You can get a universal dual exhaust or X-pipe from Jegs or Summit and see what you can come up with, but IMHO if I wanted duals, I'd get them from TSP or plan to not drive my car for a bit, while the muffler shop figures out exactly what I want.

TSP ORY with a magnaflow 14419 bullet. No rasp, still loud, less weight, and still makes the same power. Plus the whole setup with shipping is prolly $200 less and takes an roughly an hr to install.

There's a small shop in Rolla about 2 hrs south of you that installed my Pacesetters and fabbed me an H-pipe TD set up OVER the axle. He did a great job and the price was CRAZY low considering he worked on it for almost three days! PM me and I'll fill you in if your interested.

Running TSP duals with bullets dumped and enjoy every bit of it. I love the sound of pure muscle. Very good quality, and fitting kit.
