Default BBK SSI Intake, Potential Vacuum Leak....

I have been tracking down a vacuum for a couple of weeks. I bought the car it had the BBK SSI and 80mm TB on it. I found a few glaring issues I fixed and am trying not to pull the intake off.

I removed the cover plate on the egr hole (which I don;t have, '02) and found the oring that should seal the plate to the intake does not fit right (see photo).

Do you think that this could be a potential vacuum leak source? The groove is ~ 0.170 deep and the oring is 0.130 thick.

If anyone has a BBK SSI and no egr, could you pop the plate off and see if the oring makes a good seal?

Thanks.

Jon
