I had pacestters on my other car and imo the bbk's look better and have wayy better ground clearence.

Sorry to bump this old thread but I figured its better than starting a new one. Choosing between BBK and Pacesetter myself, but I noticed marylandspeed has the BBK Chrome WITH the y pipe for $379.96, BBK Silver Ceramic Coated ones for $479.96 ( also with y pipe), and the Pacesetter for $389.95 with y pipe NOT included (additional $128.00)

Which one is best and if BBK, is silver ceramic really better than the chrome?

the chrome will turn bluish over time both will eventually have some rust but should last a long time. My bbks fit better than my buddys pacesetters fwiw. I'd get chrome for the extra 100 bucks you could get stainless from tsp

Another question I had is that I'm seeing that the y-pipe size is not mentioned in the description on bbk stuff. My car has a borla catback from the previous owner and I assume its 3in. I've been seeing bbk's y-pipe is 2.5in. Will they flange out and still hook together, or do I absolutely need a 3in y-pipe?

the bbks y is 2.5" pipe but the merge is 3" so with a sleeve clamp you will be fine
