So what I'm saying is in 2004 the older style LS6 were used on vettes and they were known as 04 style.
In that same year the newer LS6 covers were also used and they were known as the 04+ style. I'm not making this up, I read about it

So the point of people having the right info is if someone wants to sell a LS6 cover off of a 2004 Vette, there is the possibility that it may be the old style cover. This same concern applies to 2004 GTOs
