Header gaskets for 1 7/8th headers

I am currently running some cheapo header gaskets that came with my Dynatech headers and they are leaking. I am wondering if some replacement header gaskets from some place like rockauto.com (they have some MLS gaskets for 8 bucks) would be better and if they would work fine with the 1 7/8" header since they are designed for a manifold.

Any ideas?

How much are OEM gaskets from a dealer?

OEM works great, you may need to clearence them which can be a PITA. I did not know this at the time I did end up using gaskets that my header co. sent and after the fact found out how good OEM's were.

You can go either way on this and be fine.

Clearance them? Like enlarge the ports?

What is reasonable to pay for them at the stealer?

WS6 store has them......dont know the price.......but haggle with the dealer based on their price

No, what I am saying is if you have a header gasket made for 1 3/4" and a header flange for 1 7/8" your not taking advantage of the larger room.

The OE gasket is larger than the exhaust ports. They will work great and won't have any issues.
