Default Best Bolt ons LS1

Have an 01 SS M6, 60,000 miles, want to increase performance with bolt ons, no H/C swap now. Car has SLP lid, Pacesetter LTs to magnaflow. Im thinking intake and TB but want to size it right.
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks john

This has been covered several times I suggest you do a search. That said I'd recommend an LS6 intake, ported stock TB, and lots of suspension/chassis components. When you get to the suspension just make sure you think of it as a system and upgrade it with some thought and don't just throw parts at it.

his car is an 01 so it has an ls6 intake already. With that said I would leave the intake alone a fast wouldnt be worth it without H/C. I would get a ported throttle body and get a tune if you dont have one. after that, if you dont want to do suspension right away gears would add a lot to the fun factor of your car and thanks to 6th gear your mpg wouldnt really change too much. I'd recommend some 3.90's or 4.10's out back just be careful the m6 is not too friendly to the 10 bolt.

an UD pulley, EWP, ported TB, FRA or buy SSRA/FTRA or the other one... chris1313RA. You can opt for used FAST 90/92 or a 102 but you will need to upgrade to bigger TB and get a bigger MAF, calibrate it (tune) or do SD tune.

cris1313 ram air, you can get either the ac or non ac. If your still runnin a 10 bolt, stock clutch and stock master cylinder then you got other things to worry about.

I would not worry about a electric water pump, a underdrive pulley gives very small gains but might be worth it in your case.

You already have an ls6 intake on the car, you can port the throttle body yourself but your not really gonna see much gain from that either.

A fast intake will help a little but no where near worth the price unless you can get a used one in great shape.

A cutout could help out some or a flowmaster merge, or both.

An 85mm maf would help but a small gain also.

Wait till you get all the stuff you want on the engine that you plan on staying with for a while and then get a dyno tune from a proffesional who KNOWS what they are doing, not a mail order tune.

Port the T/B, SSRA or something similar, flowmaster merge

I think these would be the best bang for your buck mods to start out with. IMO a EWP or a FAST wouldn't be worth the money for the gains you would get, but that's all it is. My opinion.
