First thread started out badass, then photobucket fail.....

Second one was good. I think that's a pretty good mod that often times get's neglected.

sjsingle1, appreciate you running down those threads.

I've been enlightened

Default Alternator ****....Pt 2

finally got that monster alt in the car today.....was a little different than the other AD244 I had in there.......the stator was a little wider causing a little interference with the power steering return line......i had to tweak the line toward the ground to fit......i found out there are 2 different size pulleys and i must have got the larger of the 2......the belt is a little to tight for my tastes and i will get a longer 1 tomorrow......i switched out the 150 amp fuse for a 200 amp fuse.......the wire for the computer was a little tight......good thing thing i made it long for the other AD244.......i dont know what it is.....but the car now seems to love having the extra amps.... for the computer.......coils.......a/c...lights.....the dummy gauge stays at a rock solid 13.5 volts......its a must have in my book.......GET 1 TODAY

I merged the threads. There is no need for two. I'm seriously considering changing the thread title as well.....

Definately on my to do list now. sjsingle1, thanks for the rest of the pics. We have plenty of welding shops around here, so I think that's the route I'll be taking.
