You might wanna contact alternator man, the larger pulley will slow down the alternator. You might want to use your original pulley?

Off subject but what kind of camera do you have?

I'd be interested in the link, also. While my car is torn apart, I've been thinking about doing a battery relocation, so since I'm going to run all new wires anyway, I might as well replace the 86k-mile stock alternator.

As far as the pulley on the new alt goes, I'm assuming the ID is the same as the pulley on the stocker, so there wouldn't be any issues swapping the old pulley onto the new alt? Don't really want to replace the brand-new serpentine I just put on the car...

the truck alt made the stock belt a little tighter.....but it still fit.......at least for me......but this new monster alt made the belt a little to tight for my comfort.....so i just got a longer 1

I'm going to need this 'cause apparently my car can't handle the radio + the heater + windshield wipers. God forbid I throw in a turn signal or tap the brake!

Do you have somewhere a list of any mods that might be adding load to your electrical system? I'm trying to figure out if I should go 200 amp as well, or if the standard will work... I used to have nitrous stuff that I no longer run 'cause of charging problems (e.g., bottle heater, three digital gauges, two-channel wideband, progressive nitrous controller, etc.) Still have my Racetronix hummin' in the back.

Thinking of going with a 160 AMP alternator. Anyone know if the stock wiring will handle the extra load?
