Quick LT Header install question
Hey guys, I just recently purchased a beautiful black 2002 SS SLP 345 car and got a new set of the coated Pacesetter long tubes and TSP ORY with the car that the previous owner threw in.
I have read the numerous install threads on here and have everything needed for the install (including motor mounts) so i'm all set there but i'm just curious how high I need to get the car to install the headers. Unfortunately I do not have access to a lift for a few weeks and I really don't want to wait that long. Would a set of ramps on the front tires be sufficient or do I need to be higher?
Thanks ahead for the advice

i had to place my floorjacks on a few sheets of plywood that i cut to act as platforms to get my car the extra.....6-10 inches it needed to get the passenger side in. Just have extra jack stands under your car in case anything slips.

Thanks for the advice guys. The car really needs to be 2' in the air though?
I honestly hate working under anything with just jacks and jackstands it just feels so sketchy to me. I've got a couple sets of jackstands and a few jacks so I guess i'll just put them everywhere once I get the car high enough.

I guess I'll have to give the jackstands a try maxed out and use the other stands and jacks elsewhere for support. Hopefully it will be enough to squeeze the headers up in!

Thanks to everyone for the advice with this. My buddy and I were able to get the headers and ORY in yesterday, we also did motor and tranny mount as well as some NGK tr5 plugs and MSD wires and of course a custom tune using HPTuners. It ended up taking us around 8 or so hours. The car sounds great and there's a very nice noticeable increase in power
