98mm Lid + 85mm MAF on a SI car?
Trying to squeeze the most out of my setup. Looking at a FTP 98MM lid, 85MM MAF, Chris1313 AC version, and a new tune.
So my question is...are the gains worth it on a stock internal car? I've seen guys with FAST 90's and 1 7/8" LT's and gain HP and others loose HP. I just want to drop further in the 11's without adding a cam or heads. I know that my exhaust is a choke point also and I will be addressing it this year also.
And if so how much can I expect from adding these parts?
Setup:
Lid, Ported TB, stock MAF, LS6 intake, Powerbond UDP, PS LT's, TSP ORY, Stock muffler with cutout behind axle, free mods, RPM Level 4 4L60E, Yank SS4000, Stock 3.23's, Tune with HP Tuners.

You'll gain a tenth. Won't see all of the gains (recorded HP/TQ) on the dyno due to not getting the added RAM air airflow. Make sure that you tell the tuner that you've added an 85mm MAF. The MAF table scaling is different than the stock MAF & the tuner will need to load the 85mm Table.
BTW, FAST's shine on higher than stock cubes & head/cam swaps. So, until you're into this area, stick w/ what you've done. If you already have long tubes, you're exhaust isn't chokin' much. Don't waste the cash there. Good-luck!

Thanks for the help. I'm not worried about dyno numbers just track times.
With those mods and the added suspension components I'm ready for race season to get here again.
