someone needs to make some for around 150, if they were out there everyone would get some they would not need to charge 300-500 and would sell a ton more

Like I said 95.00 bucks and I installed it..... PPC will hook up the wires for you...about 15.00 for the threaded rods, stand offs, nuts, and aluminum bar. too easy after you look closely at the Thunder kit...

guys, being a manufacturer of billet valve covers (since 2002), I might have been the first, but the high cost is because of material costs and production costs. The cost for machining just the o-ring slot to accept the factory gasket is 45.00 a cover. the other thing is material costs for sealing purposes most use 6061 billet(like I do) for at least the sealing area, whereas other covers are machined out of solid material, and that is costly, even before machine costs. I just wanted to let you know why LSx covers aren't as cheap as Small Block covers are, which are stamped or cast, but can't be manufactured as easily or cheaply. It is mostly a quality issue,do you want a 150-250.00 cover that leaks or a 300-400.00 that doesn't

Not doubting the cost of such a Valve cover but the variety sucks and I am sure one of the Bigger companies could make a non-leaking valve cover under 200.00....It seems the bigger companies with the money are taking a back seat on alot of LSX issues and not stepping up making the smaller shops foot the old R&D bill... Just sucks thats all..

I dont know I payed $350 for them. Probable about $200 I cant give you gaskets but will sell the breathers with it, there different than in the pic got some solid chrome ones. Be for warned they can be a real bitch to seal right, theres a trick to it. If you want them send me an e-mail and I will let you know when I take them off.
