From what I have gathered, dual cutouts at the headers is going to require a specific tune before they make any gains. a cutout at the end of your merge is probably the best for HP gains especially if you have the stock over the axle pipe. It is going to be loud if running on the street. Cutout on the other side of the axle isn't going to give you much in the way of HP gains but sounds great and is where I have an electric one mounted. The biggest drawback to the electric is the weight. They tend to pull down the exhaust were ever they are mounted.

That is if he has an aftermarket exhaust, you cant do duals with stock exhaust. 1 cutout would be on the driver side close to the motor and 2nd would be at the end under rear passenger seat, kinda un-even. UNLESS, you plan on dumping both headers before the cat, and want to deal with it throwing codes, just saying.
