Default A PCV delete I havent seen so wondering if it works

I have read a LOT of threads about deleting the PCV and everyone seems to do the same thing pretty much..

Block off all the ports and stick a breather in place of the oil cap..

Block off all the ports and stick a breather through the cap by drilling a hole..

Make a "bridge" by connecting the two ports on the valve covers together and putting a breather at the oil cap by one of the methods above..

I am wondering why I cant do this... Block off all the ports EXCEPT the two that make a bridge between the valve covers, put a "T" in the line and mount a small breather to the "T".. As shown below.. I would block the main port on the throttle body and use a length of fuel hose to connect the valve covers..

A couple reasons why I wouldn't do it that way.. I wouldn't want the breather behind the manifold against the firewall.. I can really see this stinking up the inside of the car .. Also, that hose is pretty small in diameter & wont evac the motor very well & prolly have oil mist all over the back of the motor.. I would stick with the original method of connecting both banks & using a breather in place of the oil cap.

The smell makes sense.. I could however run a hose from the T to anywhere in the engine bay to mount the breather.. Now as far as a 3/8 hose not being enough to vent the crankcase I dont know.. I am semi noob at this but can the crankcase really create enough pressure that it cant vent through a 3/8 hose?

Just get a catch can. You need to keep the dirty & clean sides of the pcv system separated for proper operation. If you want, you could also get a metco valve cover breather & eliminate the hose that runs from the valve cover to the throttle body to better ventilate the crankcase. But I highly recommend the catch can. There are many threads on this topic.
