Unfortunately, since I don't have a video cam with audio, I'll probably have to wait until I dyno next month to get someone to get a clip for me... with all my modding lately, I'm too poor to buy a video cam dammit!!!

Haha if you go to TSP's website and check out the Exhaust section for the '98-'02 cars, then look at the heading for the Rumbler it says RUMBER Anyone else catch this

You may have fixed the spelling but as of 10:23 AM Pacific Time on 3/4/04, the Rumbler does NOT exist in the exhaust area for: 98-02 LS1 F-bods, 97-03 Vettes or 93-97 LT1 F-bods. Even used your search feature at the top right and couldn't find it.

What an elusive exhaust!

Ah, well, it's on the site now. It looks just like a LM to me (which is really, a good thing). Does the rumbler use a different kind of I-pipe muffler/resonator then the LM?

It uses a Dynomax bullet muffler instead of a resonator like the LM... gets rid of the rasp that some people complain about with the LM. Not to mention that those smoked oval tips look awesome on a Z28.

Just put one on my '98 T/A and it sounds very nice!!! Don't have headers or a cutout, but I can't imagine what the sound would be if I did. This is ALMOST too loud as it is.....gotten several compliments and looks so far. The smoked tips look great on my black paint..........it fills out the T/A exhaust cutout in the body/rear bumper much better than just two pipes straight out imo. My exhaust guy welded mine in, which I recommend than just using the "bolt-on" method..........

Will it fit with a torque arm mounted driveshaft loop? I know that's an issue with the LM...

I run my car with headers, ORY through a cutout and I love the sound. I even like the metal ringing, popping sound when you give it alot of gas. However, I may be looking for something a little more refined to provide backpressure. How will this compare?

I should be getting one Monday, my main concern was weight, this stock dual/dual with a cutout is one heavy SOB.

They have the weight listed at 37lbs for shipping, hope its a little less then that since this dual/dual with all the hangers/brackets/clamps and cutout weighs 47lbs on my scale..

I drive the car on the street with cats so it shouldnt be too bad, I'll have some videos of it at the track w/o cats next week.

KP-I believe the actual weight is 30lbs(without tips) for the Rumbler.

I just installed it on my 01 Z last night with the smoked tips. Looks and sounds great! Although I may be a little biased. I should have the Pacesetter headers and ORY on before too long as well.

Will it fit if you have a torque arm mounted DS loop? I believe the Loudmouth won't- but am not sure if the "muffler" is in a different spot/is smaller...etc

That sounds a little better, I didnt think it was that heavy by the pics. If it looks reasonable without tips I'll just leave it without them. If not I have a pair of dual/dual SLP tips here..

Thanks for the reply.

Just got my rumbler put on. I painted it black with high heat ceramic paint. Cleaned it with some Acetone first. I would recommend this if you want to protect your exhaust for a little longer. It only takes like 1 hour or so to do this. The sound is just nice. Much deeper and throatier than the Borla. TSP made a good, cheap cat back, and I couldn't be happier with it.
