Turbo, if you do end up with a 1 chamber post up some sound clips. I was looking to do a custom 1 chamber catback with single hidden tip like the mufflex system.

Will do, I also am not doing any tips..just a turn down off the flowmaster. I had b&b tri flo with quadtips, looked great, but like the clean look of no tips out the back.

It will probably be a few weeks since the supplier I use doesn't plan on making anymore 4" mandrel bends till sometime in august. So I am trying to find another source. I should get some good video when I go to tune as well.

The gains would be nice for the price. If he switches to a proper y/I setup I would expect 10rwhp/10rwtq.

Why a turn down? Most that I see it causes a tad bit of rasp.

It will be a turn down, but more angled towards the rear and out the back of the car without being seen. That should not rasp at all or near as much. I can handle a little rasp, face it, our cars have horrible design for exhaust flow and eliminating all the rasp is near impossible(not impossible) in my eyes. I do not want to add tips either, because I can't stand a single tip on an F-body. So, that means I would have to run two or quads and that's more money(and weight) to be spent that I would rather put somewhere else.

Okay, new merge is on the way, what does everyone mean by a single chamber? is that like a standard 40 series flow? Or do they have another option??

Delta Force One is one of their one chamber mufflers. Goto flowmasters website and they will explain it and break down the mufflers for you.

I just got the Magnaflow Merge put on. It basically looks exactly like the GMMG rasp sticky. That mid range, under load rasp is completely gone! So now when I take off from a light with a little more throttle it doesn't sound nuts when I go over 2k rpm. As long as I'm accelerating it sounds great. If I rev it in park and let out its still pretty damn raspy. I'll post a video of it later. Overall I'm ok with it being a little raspy as long as that mid range accel rasp is gone.

I'm pretty happy with it. It actually made the car louder lol. Cruising at 75 you can still hear it pretty good but i have 3.73's and auto. The mid range accel rasp is gone but if I let out of it you still get some. I'm done with the exhaust, time for intake and tune.
