Simple Cam Swap Alright fellas, here's the deal. I was doing a regular old cam/valve spring/pushrod swap this weekend and on the last set of springs i was installing, my comp cam compressor decided to go flying and it ripped the threads clean out of the rocker arm bolt holes. 
I pulled the head off and I can fix it with a heli coil but Ive already done the work of pulling the one head off (241 Castings by the way) so I thought I'd get some insight on maybe getting some new heads although I can't really afford brand new shiny ported ones. I do have a set of 5.3 heads I'm thinking about getting cleaned up and ported or find a set of 243's or 799's and have them milled a little? Let me know what you guys think. Running a torquer v2 by the way.

I would see how much you could get your 5.3 heads ported for, but If it is out of your price range then 243s would be my next choice. Both are great options, but since you already have the 5.3s I would try to get those ported first.
