Flowmaster merge?

Yeah, but you'll have to remember that it's the merger that makes, or breaks a great y-pipe(regardless of brand). You can find the Vibrant mergers for around $100(easily), and if you do enough searching you'll realize it a good deal. There's plenty of SS mergers out there that cost noticeably more, and aren't even any better.
BTW, if a FM merger will suit you wants/needs just as well, then by all means get one instead since it'll cost a lot less. For me the Vibrant was more inline with my needs/want (shorter, minimal modification/fabrication to integrate with current y-pipe/exhaust) than the FM merger.

when making a y pipe you want both pipes coming back the same length right?

that way it scavenges correctly...or am I wrong?
