I have a 98 LS1 motor out of a trans am and have a chance to buy new in the box 821 castings. I'm told they will bolt right up. I still have the stock LS1 intake, will be upgrading to a LS6 intake soon. Too me the intake ports do not look like they will match up.
so are 821 heads good?
need different intake?
