It's from the bottom. You may need to remove the steering knuckle. I know I always do. Makes it easier and takes 5 minutes extra.

Yes both slide in from the bottom. Mine went in like butter. You have to take the steering knuckle off to get them on. Atleast I did. It will be a cake walk with a lift though. Btw you will need a partner to hold the header up while you bolt them in.

Lt1 is a little harder to do. I have done them on both and ls1 is easier, but lt1 isn't way way to bad.

Leave it in place. Literally. Undo the plug wires. Take out spark plugs. Remove steering knuckle drop old manifolds and cats. Put new lts in.pretty easy to handle. You may want to take the pass side coil bracket off for more room to work in.

Thanks for the help guys. I got everything off and changed my plugs, well, upon putting the driver side in I broke a spark plug, that's where I stopped for the evening. Hopefully O'reily's or Auto Zone has tr55's. I'm going to take the rest out, not sure what I was thinking, it was just sooo easy changing them with the manifolds off I couldn't resist.

They're in. Finished up this afternoon. Neither the steering knuckle, nor the starter had to be removed. Only thing besides the manifolds/exhaust that was removed was the dip stick. Driver side went in pretty easy, took a little umpf to put it pass the oil drain bolt, that's all it really got hung up on. The passenger side took 20 seconds to get in position, even with the spark plugs still in it had plenty of room. Only real snag I had was the farthest back driver side header bolt hole got partially cross-threaded, I had to re-tap the hole, which, needless to say, was a huge PITA.

All in all I HIGHLY recommend the TSP 1 7/8" LT Headers, Anyone want me to post pics?

That last one wasn't taken correctly cause I was in a huge hurry to get off the burning pavement haha, it's got about 4in of clearance. They were taken with a phone, sorry if it's somewhat poor quality/lighting. I'll have more we the exhaust goes on tomorrow.

Looks good glad you got it all sorted out. The clearances must be different for tsp headers than pacesetters I had to remove the knuckle but yeah. Have fun with it!
