Default Bad Vibrations After LT's Installed?

well i got my original issue fixed (i was rushing and put the gasket in upside down that was a $200 mistake) but i figured out that i have flowtech LT's and ory. the ypipe bangs but thats an easy fix. but when im driving its perfectly fine but when im at a stoplight on the brakes i get a really bad vibration, and its only when i press on the brakes, in neutral its fine. could it be that the kmember is rubbing up against them causing it to vibrate? its to the point where it is vibrating everyhting in the cabin

Check where the y-pipe connects to the I- pipe and see if it touches the tunnel brace , this was my problem and it vibrated the **** out of my car.

Its the angle of the pipe at certain speeds or rpms. You have to go look under there to find out where it is hitting. Could be catback to ya know. Once you install an exhaust, most of the time there is adjusting to do afterward which always sucks.

Have you ever replaced motor mounts or trans mount? Just thinking maybe its possible engine or trans has more that normal play who knows.
Your gonna have to poke around and think about whats going on down there. Alot of us just leave the y pipe cross brace off because of this. Iv had mine off for 1 1/2 years.

Well I asked the same question as you probably 1 1/2 years ago and lots of guys have done it with no problems. So I did it and its been great. No issues and nothing has moved at all under there.

Actually yea it is but just the I pipe to merge collector. I wish it wasnt cause I need to take it all apart!
I wouldnt let that scare you. Do a search and see how many run their y pipes without a cross brace. Just make sure its clamped the best you can do

Mine is off and exhaust is all held together with band clamps. I get vibrations but it's more so the solid mm I have lol it will be fine without the crossmember though
