exhaust sounds bad

exhaust sounds bad I bought my 02 Z28 M6 in 11/2003 and it had 8900 miles on the clock. The previous owner had installed Mac midlength headers, mac y-pipe with cats and corsa exhaust.
When I first got the car it sounded great. but now with only 13000 miles on the clock it's starting to sound shitty. Whenever I drive it has this wierd sound coming from the back that you can hear over the normal exhaust sounds. Kinda like a "whooooooooooooooosh" that is loud and annoying. It also crackles pops and such a lot when shifting gears.
Any advice will be appreciated.

I'm not an expert w/ the Corsa catback...But alot people on this board have problems with the baffles dislodging on the inside of the muffler. Creating a pretty annoying sound.

After reading those it's not the same problem i'm having. Mine's not rattling just making a loud "whoooooooooosh" sound and popping, crackling really bad.
Is that what's called rasp??

The crackles and pops are what I call "bubbly backfires"! dunno WTF the "whoosh" is though!!! You shouldn't get sounds like that if your muffler is working right, thats exactly what sounds mufflers are built to "muffle"...check out the sticky'd "exhaust" post at top of external section and listen to what a Corsa should sound like...
