Default A/C Idler Pulley Washers...

So.. both the A/C Idler & Tensioner pulley are shot.

The tensioner pulley came off with no issues, however the Idler Pulley...

Long story short, stripped the head of that good ol' T-50 bolt. Ended up grinding the pulley off and taking a chisel to the head to notch it. In the end, it came off easily.

Now, I'm just a bit frustrated because I need to grab the both the inside and outside bearing covers as well as a new bolt.

Anyone have these part numbers offhand? I wasn't able to find them in my parts catalogs, dealership searches, or even SPO.

I'd prefer not to have to deal with a parts guy at the dealership to *hope* he gets me the right part. I'd rather just go in and grab what I need quickly and painlessly.

Thanks!

-Derek

Does the idler from the dealer also include a new bolt?

I bought both AC idlers at Orielly. Both carry the same part number IIRC. I would recommend a generic correctly sized grade 8 bolt as opposed to an "idler bolt"...much wasier to locate and cheaper I'm sure. My torx bolt was a pain to get out as well but I managed to get lucky and not break it. And, most pulleys do not come with bolts. I would also recommend one of the aluminum high wall idler pulleys as a replacement for the tensioner pulley.

Where can I find the high wall aluminum ones at? Never even saw them before.

Awesome, found it. I'm assuming you meant for the main-drive belt. Unless the photos are on a bad angle and the A/C tensioner has a raised wall.

I'm going to shoot them an e-mail I suppose... If I'm spending $45-$80 for a single pulley, I want to know what it's made of.

Yea, just read that a few minutes ago. That's the only one on the site with a description.

Very nice piece, and for $57... I don't think I can pass it up. Better than that $12 one from Vatozone..

Any issues with it being labeled as a C5 - 2 3/4" pulley? I would assume it'd work with an F-Body Accessory drive... But figured I'd double check.
