My McCord has been on there since 2004. But I don't know if he still makes /
sells them.

I had this one for awhile and never had any issues. However, it appears the company no longer makes them, perhaps because they cost so much more than the competition.

Pic not the best, but placement into the I-pipe places the turn down exhaust almost perfect location.

Its highlights:

It was coated.
Switch was full on or full off compared to a previous brand I had where I had to guess if it was full open or closed.
It fits perfectly into the I- pipe under the right passenger side.
Accomodates a turn down so the exhaust goes down rather than into the undercarriage.
Has an actuator which are dependable and long live.
It design places the motor and actuator farther away from the I-pipe so it stays cooler.
The coating keeps the motor and actuator cooler as well.

Read on QTP site that warranty is just 90 days, lol. So next choice is what, Race Ready at $250+?

90 days for QTP or 2 years for a far superior product like DMH. It's a no brainer which cut out to go with.

Yes but it's impossible to even buy DMH, let alone replace it under warranty should the need arise...

I agree 100% I've had I think 3-4 cutouts all from qtp. They used to be the only one that made one. They won't warranty even after only a few days.
What size does dmh make?

Bullshit. I've bought two for both fbody's I've owned directly over the phone and had them to my door within a week. He has answered the phone every time I have called too.

Actually I've bought 3, but sold one because I opted out on a build and sold it to a Tech member. My first one I bought was roughly 3 years ago. This last one I just bought was a few months ago from Dave over the phone. UPS showed up with it a week later. He also hooked me up with a killer price as well. $165 shipped. DMH = great company & great product.

do NOT buy a raceland cutout, the gears in the motor are made of plastic, mine scraped the pavement a little and the motor was useless, they dont sell replacement motors either.

I've had 1 McCord and 2 QTPs, both were junk and leaked. That was 6+ years ago though so maybe they are better now. DMH seems to have good reviews, I will probably go with one of those next.
