Default Cleaning up engine bay, catch cans, ect...

1. I've noticed alot of guys' engine bays look really nice an neat. then I look at mine and it looks like ****. I've seen alot of them using anodized fittings and steel braided lines. I think it looks nice and really cleans up the engine bay. How do you go about replacing ur ugly black lines with the braided ones? How do you know what fittings to buy and ones that will fit?

2. What's the simplest way to run a catch can and is it necessary to do on a FI motor? the simplest one I seen was the passenger side valve cover is capped, a hose ran from drivers side to top of catch can, then a hose ran from bottom of catch can to the side of the manifold or maybe it was the TB. I'm not sure if running it this was would be the best for FI. D1SC Procharger.

Thanks.

Looking at that oil catch can, I went to the manufacturer's website. It is a good looking can but, I cannot tell what kind of media, if any, it has inside to actually separate the oil from the vapor stream nor I can tell how you empty it.

Here is mine... I don't have many anodized or stainless steel lines but as for catch cans I hid mine down by the radiator

+1. I'm loving the black valve covers/red coils. I was gonna do that when I changed the cam just haven't had time. Removing the hvac saves alot of space but i gotta have my heat and air.

What catch can you guys recommend?
