Default Ls6 intake or ls2 intake

I want to get an LS6 intake for my ls1 motor.Does'nt have the ls6 intake. But then I was looking at the LS2 intakes. But I was reading that the Ls6 intake might be better to go with.Anybody have good results with the LS2 intake.Right know I have the 241 heads and only plan on doing a cam change.Maybe get the 241 heads worked on(valve job, port work).Or maybe get a pair of used 243 heads.Which intake did or would you guys or gals go with. thanks

If you can get your hands on an LS6 intake I would definitely grab it up. They tend to make a little better power, but if you get an LS2 intake you would have to get a throttle body because they are 90mm. The stock throttle body will fit on the LS6 intake no problem.

From what I've read stock vs stock an LS6 is better. A ported LS2 would be better than a stock LS6, but for the price of switching over to an LS2 plus porting costs, a FAST would trump all.

Im getting an ls2 for now ill be buying a 102mm tb and then when i get the money together buy a ported fast 102 . Ls2 can be had for cheap.... I wouldnt waste money porting it but will be a great stepping stone on my way to the fast intake.
