LS6 intake and PCV help!!
LS6 intake and PCV help!! my ls6 intake went wrong the first moment i believe i just applied a bit of force to disconnect this fuel line and the damn thing cracked up! how to remove this damn hose anyway!

thanks. found it for 18$ new on ebay 
but i can get a used one for free from a friend. BUT a new problem just poped 
the freaking PCV hose that runs from the driver's side to the passenger side valve cover broke, it was VERY dry i barley touched it! any idea how to solve this? those things run for like a 100 new? ALSO, i droped my 8mm socket behind the engine is it safe to start the car after am done or should i look for that socket first?
EDIT: heres a pic. it broke at the 90 degrees hose. ive read that this is very prone to breaking?? can i just run a breather? heres a pic.

one more thing. the tranny dipstick is kind of right in the middle of the way! any idea how to remove or flex that? or will the intake just slide under it just fine? thanks. sorry for the 100 questions but the car is really annoying!!
You broke the EVAP purge valve. The line comes off by squeezing the sides of the connector. That will cause the clip to "open up" and you can slide the purge valve out.
To fix the PCV system you have to find some of plastic barbed vacuum fittings and just splice it all together.
If you want to run a breather you'll have to remove the whole PCV system. Pull the rest of the hoses off and cap everything. If you don't remove and cap the system then you will have a vacuum leak.
The dipstick tube doesn't move out of the way. You just have to be really careful when you pull off the intake. It's not fun.

the swap itself isnt hard at all. i got the steps from there. i pulled the whole thing is an hour with breaks but something bad has to happen ill get the flexible string magnet and see if i can fish it out. am sure if its in my head then its either in #1 or #3

Look on top of your tranny there for your lost socket cuz I have lost two sockets and one of my coolant plugs that I'm trying to fish out and I can see them on top of my tranny, can't get them. And I also broke the same line you did.
You did the exact thing I did a week ago. It even broke in the same spot. The part was 24 bucks and its a fuel valve solenoid or something? I cant remember. But you have to squeeze the taps of that line and pull the broken tube out of it with needle nose pliers.
just fished that little bastard out!! and got the LS6 intake and whatever i need for the install just waiting for the oil pressure sending unit socket coz i broke it 
wish i can port and polish my throttle body while am at it

So the nut was inside the Head? If so, you are SO lucky to have fished it out with the Magnet!

i might invest in some dremel tool and port the tb. but i never did that i dont wanna mess it up lol..seeing it sit there is just tempting! alright so i got everything ready except the oil pressure sending unit socket i checked every hardware and auto store with no hope! found 3 deep sockets but never deep enough is there anyway to unbolt and bolt that thing in?? like a box ended wrench??
