Default Cruise Control Cable

Folks...2001 F body, LS1...no traction control. The clip holding the cruise control cable to the throttle body is worn out. Cable looks like it's now obsolete and discontinued. Does anyone have a fix or know where to obtain a new cable? Thanks!

i just have recently had this issue as well, and a friend at a local shop said that you can drill a small hole in the black plastic piece and use piano wire to attach it to the linkage on the TB, now i havent done this yet because my cruise control works(just falls off every now and again). If i do this i will re-post. Sorry as im sure that was no help at all!

Actually, that is good help. I would like to find a cable, but barring that, your suggestion sounds like a solution.

Dorman....are you listening???
